- You may enroll after the start date if you have skills commensurate with the the group in session. Plase take the level test and we will let you know which group is most appropriate for you, then prorate the cost for the remainder of the series.
INTERMEDIATE
B1 - 45 hours
At the end the B1 course (Divided into B1.1, B1.2 and B1.3) you will understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc; deal with most situations likely to arise while traveling in areas where the language is spoken; produce simple connected text on topics which are familiar or of personal interest; describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes & ambitions and give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans. B1.1 - 10 weeks, 15 hours (Prerequisite A2.2 or previous experience)
Start Date: 4/17, 2012*. Tuesdays, 6-7:30pm $300**
B1.3. - 10 weeks, 15 hours (Prerequisite B1.3 or previous experience)
Start Date: 6/14, 2012*. Thursdays, 6-7:30pm $300**
** Does not include student course book and materials. $50 will be added at time of checkout (one-time for each 45-hour level - A1, A2, B1, B2).
B2 - 45 hours
At the end of the B2 course (divided into B2.1, B2.2 and B2.3) you will understand the main ideas of complex text on both concrete and abstract topics, interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers quite possible without strain for either party; produce clear, detailed text on a wide range of subjects and explain viewpoints on topical issues giving the advantages and disadvantages of various options. B2.1 - 10 weeks, 15 hours (Prerequisite B1.2 or previous experience)
Start Date: 6/25 2012*. Mondays, 7:30-9pm $300**
** Does not include student course book and materials. $50 will be added at time of checkout (one-time for each 45-hour level - A1, A2, B1, B2).
